When I installed ceramic tile in my bathroom that is not poetry so dirty, fast. I bought a bag of white sand with no mortar is mixed with a little water (like peanut butter) and spread it over the old grout with a finger, so that about 3 feet square both. Then clean moistened before it dries, use a flat steel wool, to the excesses go easily into the surrounding area made only to press a sponge with clean water. Be sure to change your bucket of water often, and not put the grout dirty water in the bath / sanitation kitchen.

You can try the grout clean, go to Home Depot, Lowe's and buy or grout cleaner, tile and grout brush seal. You need to use some elbow grease to the nozzle, where it is clean, let dry and seal it with grout sealer to clean.

You can buy the commercial whitening grout renovation. This page is - I do not know how good or difficult to use. Perhaps another user can answer these questions.
